After numerous teases, the Japanese company finally came through with an announcement regarding its 2018 model. This car concept 1st appeared at the Geneva Auto Show in 2016 marking an entry into the category of subcompact crossovers. 2018 Toyota C-HR will maintain most of that base concept along with a few tweaks here and there. This upcoming model will be a first choice family vehicle. In fact, it centered towards enthusiasts who love to drive in solitude.
2018 Toyota C-HR Exterior Specs
2018 Toyota C-HR definitely has that allure. It’s a lot sharper owing to its back-brushed roof, comet-like tail burners, stylish pony like spoiler, catchy grille with air vents, alien front burners and punk like frontal.
This car will ride upon 21 inches wheels giving users an elevated riding height. Though its exact dimensions are not specified yet, expect it to be bigger as compared to likes of Renault and Ford hatches.
TNGA- Toyota Global Architecture platform will be seen employed into the cabin. This model will be a customized 4-seater with comfortable leather heated seats and ample leg and shoulder room between seats.

It will have a 2.0 liter 4 inline motor along with the possibility of other engine options. Higher trims are also expected to incorporate a turbocharged unit to make it roll faster. It will be mated with CVT and 6-speed auto transmission. Expected power output will be around 150 HP.
In some other regions, 2018 Toyota C-HR will run on a hybrid 1.8-liter engine. Its configuration will reveal a marriage between an electric motor and a gasoline operated powertrain. Expected output from this power plant is around 122 HP.
Competition for 2018 Toyota C-HR
This new model will face stiff competition from other compact crossovers such as Honda HR-V, Jeep Renegade, Mazda CX-3 and Nissan Juke.
Release Date and Price
Car enthusiasts who are curious to find out about 2018 Toyota C-HR launch date will have to hold their horses for a little bit. Its full details will be coming out this month (November 2016) at the LA Auto Show. However little is known about its release in North America. This car will be available in all showrooms in 2017.
This model will be priced somewhere in around $20,000 for its base trims. Other trims hosting packages and extras may take the price around $35,000.
